The Mohur Buttons in blackened 18k rose gold and Burmese rubies feature rare, collectable and certified high karatage Imperial Mughal gold coins (aka gold mohurs).
The design emphasizes and studies transience – celebrating the idea of an object’s perceived as well as inherent values that change over time. The rare, collectable and certified antique coins belong to the Mughal Era (Circa. 1700s), and the reign of Muhammad Shah. They are juxtaposed against the sharp points of the ruby mountings that hold them.
The set of 5 can be worn on Nehru Jackets, Bandgalas and Sherwanis. A single button can also be worn on the lapel.
