How should I get started?

Ordering Jewelry

All our pieces are made by hand and to order. If you have ordered an engagement ring or have commissioned a piece, this may take longer.

Please allow us up to 6-8 weeks to process your special orders. If your order is urgent, please email us and we will try our best to accommodate your request. If you have ordered a product that is delayed, we will notify you via email or telephone. Upon shipment, we will send you by email, a shipping confirmation email with the tracking number.

Personalization/ Engraving

We offer personalization with engraving (dates, names, initials) for our pieces. Please email us to determine if it is viable for the chosen product.

Customization

If you do not see your size as an option for your chosen piece, we will be happy to customize it for you. You can reach us over email or call us/WhatsApp.

Commissions

We thrive on collaborations and a commission is our most fulfilling collaboration. We would love to create a piece – something made specially for you, that could only be made by us. For additional information on commissioning a piece, please refer to the commissions section.

Our jewelry is designed to last forever and to be worn. With some simple care, you can ensure they are preserved for years to come.

Storage

Store jewelry in such a way that each piece is separated from the other as some gemstones can be easily abraded. Different stones have different hardness; softer stones such as amethyst, pearl, opal, peridot and metals can easily be abraded by harder stones. Avoid exposing your jewelry to abrasive surfaces. The jewelry products are best stored in the cases in which they came in or soft fabric pouches/ suitably lined box.

While traveling, safely store your rings, earrings and pendant in a soft jewelry pouch. To keep your jewelry scratch-free, secure and untangled while you are traveling, please ensure that each item has its own compartment or separate pouch.

Usage

Always put your jewelry on last. To prevent damage to the pieces as much as possible, we recommended that you do not wear diamond and colored gemstone jewelry while carrying out household/outdoor chores, before swimming in a chlorinated pool, hot tub, hot spring, or when using household cleaners and bleaches. Extreme temperatures, perfumes, hair products and cosmetics, among others, can also damage jewelry; certain gemstones and pearls can become dulled and gradually lose their luster.

Cleaning

Diamond jewelry should be cleaned with mild soap and water solution and a soft brush. To prevent damage as much as possible, we recommend you do not use harsh detergents, alcohol or ultrasonic cleaning methods.

To clean the gemstone jewelry, use a soft polishing cloth or lint-free cloth. Soap, water and liquid cleaners should not be used on certain gemstones. Please contact us, if you are unsure.

You should use a non-abrasive cleaner to maintain your gold jewelry. Use a soft cloth to polish your gold jewelry regularly and store it separately from other metals to avoid discoloration.

Please note, currently we are only able to accept orders to addresses within India, US, Canada, UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Austria, Spain, Greece, Belgium, UAE, Qatar, China, HK, Japan, Singapore, S. Korea, Thailand and Australia. Please contact us in the event that you are in a country which is not listed, as we may still be able to deliver, at our discretion.

The jewelry will arrive in a Studio Renn case and with a personal note. This package will arrive to you at home in a discreet corrugated box.

You will receive an email with the shipping confirmation and delivery details, once your order has been shipped.

Shipping Within India

We use FedEx or equivalent logistics partner depending on the address of delivery. We insure all of our packages and require a signature at the time of delivery. Please allow for 3-4 days for delivery from the date of shipping.

International Shipping

We use FedEx, DHL and UPS depending on the country of delivery. We insure all of our packages and require a signature for all orders. Please make sure you choose an address for delivery where either you or someone (on your behalf) is available to sign for it.

We currently only offer standard delivery – please allow 10-14 working days for delivery from the time of shipment. In case your order is urgent, we will need to evaluate the option of express delivery for your country. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Customs duty and local taxes will be charged to you, depending upon the country of residence. This will be calculated at the time of checkout and will be pre-paid on your behalf, when your order is shipped.

By law, we cannot change the value of order on commercial invoices. We adhere to all international import/export laws strictly.

Please note we cannot be held accountable for delays in delivery beyond our control, including customs clearance.

Covid-19 Update

Please be patient with us during this time. Deliveries may be subject to delays. Should you be concerned at the length of time your delivery is taking, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us. We shall try our best to ensure speedy delivery and returns during this period.

Due to the need for contact-less delivery, there may be temporary changes in the acceptance of pre-paid duties and local taxes/ VAT. We shall inform you of this should there be changes from the logistics partners and revert dues accordingly.

We accept payments by credit card only. We accept all major credit cards such as MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Diners Card. Also, all credit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorization by the card issuer.

Studio Renn takes precautions — including administrative, technical, and physical measures — to safeguard your personal information. To securely receive your payments over the Internet, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption technology, which is the standard internet practice to ensure your details are protected.

Cancellation

If you realized that you made a mistake and wish to cancel your order, please contact us over email immediately. Since all pieces are handmade and to order, we can cancel your order within 7 days of placing the order. There may be some fee involved in reversing the charges of the payment and we will need to deduct it from the transfer amount.

Returns

Since all our pieces are made to order, all sales are final.

Damaged & Defective Items

If you should receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately over email. In the case of damage incurred during shipment, we must be notified within 48 hours of delivery in order to initiate the return process. If your purchase becomes faulty at a later date, please email [email protected] for review, including your order number and purchase date, detailed description of the damage as well as photos.

Even though our website is open 24/7, we work Monday-Saturday, 9:00 AM IST to 6:00 PM IST. If you enquire about a product or a purchase beyond these hours, we will absolutely get back to you the following working day.
