An important 8.78 ct unheated Burmese sapphire cabochon rests a little off-center within diamond and Burmese sapphire ombré ‘filaments.’ Oval-cut diamonds and unheated Burmese ruby cabochons are set without prongs amongst the mesh. The airgaps draw the eye into the inner lattice, which is encrusted with gems.
